This past week was technically my last week at my internship. Now everyone decides to be nice to me and show me different things. A little too late. I've finalized everything for my excursions after the program. I think that I actually got some pretty good deals, for almost two weeks and all.

Nothing much really new is going on here in London. I am procrastinating working on my paper. The weather has been really nice so I've been so enjoying the outside as much as I can. I went for a run yesterday through Kensington Gardens, and it was beautiful. I've even broken out the flops, even though I am in desperate need of a pedicure.

I've been thinking about Chinese food lately, and I might venture out to China Town with Jen this afternoon to see what we can find. Hopefully it'll be cheap and good. Not a usual combination in London, but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.

This past weekend I traveled to Midsomer Norton with Jen to see her family friend James. We took the bus on Saturday morning from London to Bath and we can home late Sunday night on the bus again.

Saturday when we arrived in Bath we headed over to the Costume museum. They have dresses from the 16th century to today's fashions. It was pretty interesting. After the museum we headed over to Longleat and went on safari. Basically there are a few acres where they have Lions, Tigers and Monkeys! There was a lioness who was right up against out car. We were also able to get really close to a Rhino and some special type of deer.

Sunday was the day though. We went to mass at a Benediction Abbey in the morning. Then we picked up James' 97 year old father and went to Evensong at this really old cathedral. Needless to say I am blessed for a long time. We went to a little tea shop in the town square and had cream tea. It was this really nice tea with scones, jam and whipped cream. Good times.

I've finished booking all of the hotels for the European Adventure with Jon. We did pretty good with costs, seeing as though we are going to be in Europe for 11 days. I passed in my internship portfolio today and I am finishing with my intern this week. This weekend I will probably head over to Portobello again, this time with the video camera. Yeah, well that's pretty much it.

Today was a very good day. I headed out to Camden with the girls to do a little shopping. Now I really didn't intend to buy a lot of stuff, but I did. I bought two new t-shirts, a Union Jack zip up and a pink polka dot watch. All were such good bargins so I feel good about them.

I've gotten a few other things accomplished. I booked Jon's flight to London. I changed my flight so we both come back to the States together on May 8th. I also booked out flights to Paris from London and to London from Rome as well as our train ride from Paris to Rome. It's going to be a really great trip across Europe and I am really excited about it. All I have left to book are the hotels, which will be the cheapest ones we can find.

I'm in the process of writing a paper about Monty Python's The Life of Brian and The Rocky Horror Picture Show and their comedic significance of the 1970s. I'm also working on finishing my portfolio project of my internship. It's really hard because I haven't really had a lot of variety in my internship, so my writings seem a little blah, but I'll manage something. I've got to get all of this like financial information from the company and all this other bullshit that doesn't really make sense, but whatever.

Pretty much yeah...
