Tomorrow we are jetting off to Dublin for the weekend. It's finally really sunk in that we're heading to another country. Tonight we packed our weekend bags and checked the weather. We are planning on doing some cheap things while we are over there. The weather doesn't look that promising for the weekend, but the thing I've noticed is that the weather people over here are even worse than the people in the states. So hopefully we'll get some rain free days while we're over there. I've got the maps and travel books so I think we'll be all set.
Today we watched this great show in my class it was called Dr. Who. It was really great we all got so into it. It was actually a two-parter that we watched. We were only going to watch the first part but we all needed to know what happened. So the story is like a sci-fi Quantum Leap show. There's this guy and his assistant and they travel through time and help people out, basically saving the human race from aliens and things like that. I think it was actually better than some of the crap that's on American TV these days.
Tonight me and the girls had a nice chat with Jon. It was very entertaining. The girls say that I keep them laughing with all my weirdness and interesting ways. Tonight we all cuddled on the couch after our family dinner. We're so cute. I'm really missing Joanna, I wish she was here right now. I talked to her today and apparently I got a summons for jury duty, so I need to straighten that shit out right away. It's weird that they sent it to the address in Boston because that's not my permanent address or the one listed on my license. I need to let them know that I'm out of the country and won't be able to partake in my civic duties until after I re-enter in the summer. I hope it's not going to be a huge ordeal. You are supposed to reply to those things within like 10 days of getting them, but I haven't lived in Boston for over a month, so how was I supposed to know that I got it. Grrrrr.
So that's what's going on over here across the pond. I'll make sure to write a nice long entry about the weekend in Dublin when I get back.
HERE WE COME!
Cheers!
